Smile Considering the Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS

    Posted for a friend:

    Hi ,

I am planning to buy a new Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS. It's newly launched by Bajaj. I just loved the looks and the styling but I am a total newbie at bikes..so was just wondering if somebody could help me out in deciding whether it's a worthwhile option to go for or if I should rather opt for the 150cc instead. It would be a great help if i get some guidance regarding the specs and the technical details of the bike.

I think this bike makes a perfect sense for any new biker looking for a:
    - light -- it has 122kg kerb weight which is lesser than many in the category and cool 9-10kgs lighter than lightest 150CC bike(R15)
    - good looking -- though subjective, I personally too liked it
    - relatively compact -- at least seems so
    - relatively powerful -- its max power to weight ration is more than many 150CC bikes.

    2) Mileage (Expecting 45-50 kpl)
    3) Power/Speed which can will be useful in the city traffic in terms of acceleration etc

ya the p135 is good in all those departments....its a sporty commuter with mileage higher than 45-50kmpl...

u can ask him to try out p150 as it will give him 45-50kmpl with better power delivery...jus the increase in weight would be an issue...try out both and see wat suits him better...
