i'm a new member to xBhp but has been reading the forum for a very long time. i finally joined the forum as i'm planning to buy my first motorcycle & need your advice on it. i've got an offer to buy a 2009 Pulsar 220F DTSi for Rs37k. i know the price is kinda low but the reason the seller is saying for this price is that the bike is being used by a stunt team. he said that the engine is fine, but the body needs some work. i've not seen the bike yet. seller is busy now & has told that he would be free next week. hope to meet the p220 then. dont know abt odo.

    my questions:
    1. what are the general problems that occur to stunt bikes?
    2. is it a good deal even if i have to do normal servicing?

i don't care about mileage or looks. would be using the bike for max 1.5years.

    please advice.
A stunter would only sell his bike for 3 main reasons.

    1) Given up on stunting
    2) Bike has no more juice left.
    3) Has found a other bike which out shines his current.

In your senario number 2 option has a very high chance. My advice, drop it. You don't need that headache.

Avoid. You'll rarely find a bike more abused than a stunt bike.

    Thumbs down

well... i guess its a no no for stunt bikes then...
It does feel great to have a tank of petrol between your legs & explosions just under it.
