Default A cost effective, great mileage with decent power

The title probably sums it all up.
Mileage should be a minimum of 55 in the worst conditions possible. and there should be some punch. any suggestions?

Not happy with the unicorn, if ridden hard mileage drops down to 40. need it just for a year and will be travelling extensively (150 kms a day)

150 KM a day for a year? Are you planning for some extensive touring across the country? Anyway, have you considered the GS150R?

I don't know how much of "power" is decent power in your books; choice is simple - Discover 100; think of nothing else. Great motorcycle with power it delivers in that segment.

If you're expecting anything in terms of 55-60 Kmpl, then Unicorn is more than sufficient. If you're still experiencing a low FE, then, check your riding style or the condition of your Unicorn.

Or if you need anything on 125cc, then Shine will do the job; otherwise opt for Discover 150.

    pulsar 135.power mileage combo.
but i would suggest stick to unicorn.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

If you are extensively riding. Do check out the GS150, but before buying that make sure of spares and service availability in your riding area.

Unicorn is a very good bike for smooth riding and mileage as well as durability, seeing your spec, i think you may have to take a look at the 125cc category.
There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.

    Default bike for you

by driving hard a unicorn i presume you go past 80-90km/hr. It is not advisable to go for those speeds consistently on any lesser cc bike. Hence unicorn is the best you can get. . And at that speed even a splendor will give you 45-48 and you will be slowly killing its engine.. So again you have the best already. available with you.

A cost effective, great mileage with decent power

Go by walk or bicycle its cost effective, great mileage, and increase your power aka stamina health blah blah

    just kidding

if still you want a cost effective mileage cruncher in bearish petrol price hikes on every alternate months, go and try somewhere between 125 to 100 cc
