No bro. No fairing bikes for me period. Cant live with noise and vibration any more after P220.

Which one is better in terms of engine refinement Hornet/Gixxer/FZ16?

    Will definitely test drive it.

How is the engine refinement in FZ/Gixxer/Hornet/RTR200?

Well in rtr200 till 9500 rpm u won't feel any vibration. After that a slight buzz u will notice on the foot pegs.... But let me tell u its one of the most refined 200cc bikes out there.

I have a the same question. A friend is looking for a bike strictly for commuting to work. He is 44 and will be riding on Bangalore's notoriously crowded Bannarghatta Road to reach MG Road.
Using a car is ruled out - he doesn't have the time.

He was using a Gixxer but suffered from back pains and his knees aren't what they used to be. He would prefer to stretch his legs.

I have suggested that he gets a scooter, but the wheels are too small to handle bumps.
What do you folks suggest - a Unicorn 150, Uni 160 or Avenger (large turning radius).
Would a Bullet Electra be comfortable - I have suggested he swap out the standard shocks for Continental's Paolis.

My reasons for suggesting the Unicorn 150 or 160 are - forward pegs, soft suspension, light clutch and lower weight.

    Best
Let him test drive Unicorn 160. And one of the most underrated bike is Yamaha SZ-r 2.0. Have him test drive drive it too. Please dont suggest Avenger/RE kinda cruiser, its weight, turning circle and riding posture will make his condition worse.

    My suggestions:

    Unicorn 160/150
    Yamaha SZ-R 2.0
