Not sure about unicorn. I would suggest to rent Avenger Street/Cruise for couple of hours and take the decision. My friend had same issue, bikes with mono suspension made it worse. So, he had to rent Avenger street for a day and as per him it was comfortable.

He was about to buy but was asked my someone to wait for Avenger 400/Suzuki Cruisers which are going to launch by next March.

I would recommend to stay away with mono suspension which might worsen the issue. Good luck

Oh, I'm not the original poster of this thread. He bought the Unicorn for his back pain, and so far, he's very happy with it.

I just appreciated him for posting feedback of Unicorn, which I am interested in getting. He's getting 55 kmpl, which is great.

I would suggest go for old unicorn 150 model it is gem of all bikes.I personally kept one for relax riding. Engine is ultra smooth and ultra durable and posture is also upright relaxed. Riding unicorn is like meditation for me. Just go for it u'll never regret.

May I ask, why not the newer 160cc model?

Because 150 model ruling the market since 2005 this engine showed its reliability form 12 years.
What you'll be buying will be refinement of 12 years.

I got Unicorn 150 & is really comfortable bike, lower back pain due to riding bullet has completely gone now. so far i have ridden 1000 kms on it & its giving me around 55 kmph of mileage which i think is best in 150 cc category.

Well , may we know your height. Im 5'8 and i find that the avenger street solved my back pain but has given lower neck pain.
If our heights match then might pick the Unicorn after intensive trial.

I've narrowed it down to Unicorn 160. I did read about Suzuki Intruder 150, but I don't think a cruiser would be able to give me my required mileage.
