Default Comfortable bike for a back pain victim

    Hello friends.

i am satyam 35 years old & i am riding RE Electra from may 2014. from july 2016 i started suffering from back pain which i got cured by joining physiotherapy. again i started suffering from it this march. Finally now i have decided to sell my bullet & go for a comfortable bike with soft ride quality. the reason to change my bike is because of very hard suspension setup on bullet, heavy kerb weight & poor pillion seat comfort.

my requirement is light weight comfortable bike with soft ride quality & comfortable pillion seat. my budget is around 1 lakh, fuel efficiency & performance doesn't matter.
my usual running will be 15-20 kms daily within city & 25-30 kms on weekends that too over bad roads

    i have shortlisted 2 bikes

    1.Yamaha fz s FI
    2.Honda hornet 160
3.Suzuki gixxer(i think it looses on pillion comfort)

Friends please guide me, which bike will be better for me?

    Query Approved

I would say the Unicorn is the most comfortable among the 150s

Hornet is quite stiff won't be comfortable.

Two bikes I would suggest is Hero Hunk and Avenger street 150.

Test ride this two bikes also.

Street 150 has plush seat and offers very good ride quality.

    Best of luck mate.
    Cheers ☺

As per me, the most comfortable 150cc, or should I say, any bike under 2 L price segment is the age old Unicorn. Cant say, what mods have they done on the new bikes, but the old one, after 7 years of usage, still gives extreme comfort to the spines.
Test ride, if any of your friends/ relatives have it.

From the three bikes you have mentioned in your first post, the Yamaha has the most plush suspension. The Gixxer is sporty, the Hornet lies somewhere in between.

As many said, Honda Unicorn would be the best bike for you.

Yes but styling is dated... I think i should go for Yamaha fzsFI.. any problem in this bike? does regular service costs more in fzs fi compared to hornet?

Well, now I need to ask which is your priority? Style or comfort? If comfort then nothing comes closer to the legend Unicorn.

FZ, Hornet, Gixxer all are the good looking bikes. I personally like Hornet a lot for the way it looks.
