The chassis and engine will be similar to the current gixxer obviously barring a few changes, should expect more concrete news by the year end.

    Thanx mate
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for dual channel ABS instead of the single channel ABS on the current bike.

Should be dual bybre, I think this bike is tailor made for the Indian market, absence of liquid cooling maybe a deal breaker but with a oil cooler to keep costs competitive and single to keep the price down unlike the gsx 250r which is a twin cylinder.

That's only a rumour, shouldn't be spread around. XPulse is/was a concept bike. They "may" show it at the auto expo, but whether it will see the light of the day remains to be seen. Case in point - EBR offerings.

Yes, accessories are available that fit 99% of bikes out there.

No. RC200/390 has a very sporty stance. And if one learns to seat himself properly, even that becomes comfortable. RS200 isn't even as sporty as the CBR, stance-wise.

What about the 24 hp Inazuma mill (2 cylinder) making rounds?
And regarding FZ25, it was already available in Brazil in the same state of tune. Yamaha didn't do anything India specific.

I have been riding the RS 200 for quite some time now. Have covered around 18k km while mostly riding in the city. But have gone on a few 700-800 km trips and did not find the riding posture that sporty. But again that is my personal opinion

That is the gsx 250r, it would cost a lot more than the bike I've mentioned about. Even I enquired about it and said it won't be coming, instead an up sized gixxer 150 engine bored to 250 and with a oil cooler will come. It will pretty much use a similar frame on the existing gixxer 150, will have to wait and see till the year end for more concrete answers.

Thank you everyone. You removed my prejudice against rs200. I think I'll also wait till the launch of gixxer

FZ25 would be an ideal choice IMHO. If your cruising speed is over 100kmph then you should worry about the wind blasts. if the speed is somewhere around 70-80kmph then wind blasts aren't much of an issue.

What about the gixxer sf fi abs? I heard that it could do 100 all day. It has fairing also. Does it have a gear position indicator?
