Default Suggest a suitable bike for the first time buyer

    Hi,

I’m a 5’9” 30yrs man, married, blessed with a girl child of 2 years. I’m planning to buy a new bike to ride with my wife and daughter.

My budget is upto 1.3 lakh and my main concern is comfort, for sure, and ABS for safety.

I’m habituated in riding Yamaha FZ, v1.

Which bike will be the best fit for me?

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to post such question but the scenarios has been changed recently because lot of new bikes have been launched within a short period of time.

Within 1.3lakhs apache 160 4v with abs will be suitable. It has good pillion seat, performance and safety.

I loved new look of FZS V3. I also considered Hornet ABS

Which one will be comparatively more comfortable, for pillion, specially?

Personally I don’t like TVS products. My family members have bitter experiences in terms of services and performances.

Yamaha FZS v3 introduced single seat, i was trying to explore that but as an inexperienced person, I’m depending on expert advice.

No one is expert than yourself, try it out, and buy if you like it, simple. The people mostly misguide than guiding one. Take your wife with you ride in bad roads+ good roads and see if pillion is comfortable or not !

Yes, as BPK mentioned, you are the only one who will be able to select what you need.

First of all, understand your needs and also make sure what are the mandatory features for you. - I think you have completed this part.

Don’t go by the brand name alone.

Nowadays, a better engineered product is available from our home grown companies TVS and Bajaj are reliable equal to a Japanese one.

So, test ride every bike which is under your budget with your must-have features. Take your wife to test the pillion comfort.

Don’t go by the sales person’s words.

Take multiple test rides as much you want. Nothing wrong in this.
