Default New bike after owning P150

Hello xBhp friends , Since last time i wrote a post regarding upgrade from my bike pulsar 150 last two years , but wasn’t able to upgrade due to my financial problems. I couldn’t find my earlier posts which I wrote . Now most of the popular bikes have increased their prices very competitively. I am looking forward to sell my ageing 6 year old pulsar 150 to get a newbie , but my budget is strictly 1.3 lakhs on road price . I don’t want to pay interest on loan since it’s waste of money to pay.

    The conditions

No Royal Enfield, Bajaj and TVS . I already had those brands .

Yamaha , Suzuki and Honda are preferred brands .

Pillion and rider comfort should be in addition ... city commute as well as long rides ( tour) .

Please pour in your suggestions !!! I am going to buy one in one or two months time ...

Considering the shortened list of preferred manufacturers - I'll say Honda Hornet.
Suzuki Gixxer would be my pick any day for the super agile body, brakes and the fun it offers.
But where it is a little compromise is the pillion seat.
Hornet is more balanced that way.
I would have suggested FZ but then it brings nothing amazing to the table except the price which is bonkers for the specs.

Try the new fz v3, it has a upright riding posture, good seat cushion, soft suspension compared to xblade/hornet/guxxer, low pillion seat height, bigger seat . It's a complete package from yamaha, if you consider other japs.

You are basically left with the Gixxer, FZ(3.0) and Hornet. Test ride all of them back to back and then decide. One can't go wrong with either of them.

Gixxer is more fun to ride, FZ(2.0) is for commuter oriented of the two. The Gixxer has an oil seal leakage issue on all the bikes, while the FZ(2.0) has an erratic fuel gauge. These are some of my observations, I own both the Gixxer and the FZ (2.0) currently.

Stretch a bit on the budget and take a look at the MT15.

Thanks for the suggestions .... I actually want upgrade to 250 cc , sadly from two years back , fz25 ONR was 1.3, and now it’s 1.6 !!! Bad luck again .... and duke 200 has gone to 1.8. This time bikes are too costly ... I actually want a fuel injected bike not carbs.

How s the ride of Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi? Can it be ridden on the highways with out any vibes ? None of the Suzuki showrooms are offering test ride.

Is Yamaha R15s still on sale . heard that the production has stopped !

I have test ridden fz25 two years back since it got launched . I liked its smoothness and heard that it can go 90-100 kmph smooth all the day without having stress in its engine !

Got a chance to TD it after Apache 160 4v today.
Apache holds over all smoothness but vibes are there at higher rpm..
Gixxer SF that engine sound itself different and it makes u to think its kind of harsh sound when u redline it. But at the same time vibes are much minimal and constant through out the rpm range..

    Test drove extreme200R also.
Fastest 0 to 100 bike in the segment.
But engine feels stressed once it crosses 7k rpm.
Suspension is good , refinement is below gixxer.

    Pulsar-180 2019
Vibrates more.. Specially pillion seat. not punchy compared to gixxer, 160 4v.

    Finally RTR 200 4V
KING of the segment as a over all package.
