    Default Booked Street Twin 2019

    Hi all,

I've booked the new Street Twin 2019(Matt Ironstone) from One Triumph, Delhi yesterday.

I am upgrading from a Duke 200(2012). I will mostly use it for city commute with very rare and occasional short trips.

    Other options considered: CBR650F, Ninja 1000 & Z900.

Rejected CBR650F because of its riding stance is more aggressive on 2019 model. Also, I liked the design of 2018 model.

I liked the sound of Ninja 1000 and Z900 and also test rode the Z900 but my family didn't quite like the pillion seat on both models.

So, I zeroed onto the Street Twin after the test ride. I somehow preferred the retro style over the naked and supersports. Also, the other deciding factors include better ground clearance, usable city power/torque, no attraction magnet, 1 year service intervals, closer svc. Hope I sound good in my deciding factors.

    Regards,
    Ankur

I have one doubt regarding my booking that Triumph dealer included 21K as Logistics charges and after much discussion, he agreed to give a 10K discount. Is it legal to charge it from the customer? Kawasaki dealer did not quote it for Z900 and Ninja 1000. Anyone in this community have experienced this before?

According to our supreme court it's illegal to take logistics charge, but still the dealers charge it to increase their profits. But its the car dealers who charge logistics not the bike ones. But everyone wants to make money so they can charge whatever they want. It's upto you now, either refuse to pay any logistics charge or cancel the booking or get robbed by the dealer
