    Default Spare parts availability between Yamaha Fazer 250, Dominar 400 & CBR 250R

    Since I believe that a good availability of spare parts is key to a peaceful ownership experience, I would like to know which of these bikes have the easiest availability of spare parts- Fazer 250, Dominar 400 and Cbr 250r. I am especially interested in the Dominar 400. For example, how long do you have to wait for the spare parts ? Please exclude normal consumables like brake pads, sprockets, cables or air filters. I am more interested in those parts which might need replacement due to malfunction or an accident.

    Also it will be great if you can talk about the service experience or quality for these brands in Delhi. Thanks in advance !

    Availability of parts would entirely depend on which part of the country you are in.
    In Tier 1 cities and metros, parts should be easily available.
    I have very good experience with Honda. Here in Bangalore, they have all most all parts for CBR 250R readily available (including fairing). Same goes for the CBR 650F which has been replaced by CBR 650R.
    I cannot say the same for Yamaha, as getting parts for my R3 is a pain. Anything beyond the regular parts is a back order which means minimum 2 weeks of waiting.
    Not sure about Bajaj as I do not like the brand due to their quality related issues and reliability, hence not interested. Have faced multiple issues with my Discover 125 DTS-i.

    CBR 250R -> 2017 -> SOLD 2017

    Blue Activa 125 -> 2016
    Black YZF-R15 v2 -> 2011 -> SOLD 2016
    Black Discover 125 DTS-i -> 2005

    The advantage of owning a Bajaj is that for some reason if you are unable to source/arrange spares locally then you order Genuine spares online from www.99rpm.com

    Getting Bajaj spares is easier and more cost effective. That's the best part owning a Bajaj. CBR is a dead product and it may get axed any time. Fazer 25 is another dead product not producing results that the Fazer 150 did.

    That's the plan and worth looking at.
    Yamaha needs to be taught a lesson for India. Don't mint money from Indians and don't give us rubbish.

    Don't write my Fazer 25 off so heartlessly yet...I am yet to start my tenure of touring with it. It's in break-in period & this is what I get to read

    As they say it's not about the ride, it's about the rider. Besides all that, underneath the clothing it's as much a wolf as an FZ25.

    I hope this time Suzuki will keep the quality in check as the first batch of Suzuki Gixxer 155's were plagued with Rust issues.
