Default Help needed on selecting a new bike.

Hi, I'm currently deciding between RS 200 or FZ 25 for my new bike. I'm more inclined towards RS 200, but while asking around they said go for FZ 25 cause of reliability (yes, it's a valid point) but FZ misses out on 6th gear and isn't that much exciting to ride for me (not saying FZ 25 is bad its just my preference probably its my childhood crush on RS 200 ) but regardless its a good bike.

So I would like to hear from the owners of these wonderful bikes and any other opinion is welcome. Thank you and have a nice day.

Go for RS 200 it's better than fz25 in every aspect such as engine refinement, better headlights, 6th gear for cruising ability, Better braking and equally reliable as FZ.

Yes rs 200 is much better than fz,if weight of bike is not a problem.due to bs6 norms bike have not lost ny sort of power.and cost of bike has increased by just 1500 rs approx.

Weight is not much of an issue for me, I was actually considering thunderbird 350x since that was in the same price range as well but its a different breed entirely. The things that bothers me most are the price range and reliability.

Bro everyone knows how reliable re can be,rest depend on the rider how he feels about a particular bike.as each and every bike is diffrent,so are riders preferences.if u dont have any problem then take a test ride or rent it and go for a ride.

Already rode the RE and RS actually, just the FZ 25 left since bs6 norms are kicking in there are no test drive models available in my city. The comfort level of RE is unmatched in my opinion.

I think actualy u will like riding fz in city.but not on highways.comfort is gud bt question mark remains with relaibility of re ,nyways if u want to take a test ride of fz also then do wait for few days.or if its available on rent then give it a try.

REis comfortable but can live with the vibrations? When i test rode the bike it was too much for me. The reliability aspect depend on how you maintain your bike, i just sold of 9 year pulsar 180 and had no issues or whatsoever

Vibrations are ok, even on the pulsar there are some its nothing compared to the RE but its there and from the reviews FZ 25 has some above 6k rpm (not confirmed for myself). For an RE apart from the reliability aspect you should have be lucky enough to get a good one from the showroom. One of my friends problems started just one month after the purchase and the service center guys had no idea how to fix it (this happened 2 years ago by the way, dunno how RE showrooms are nowadays).
