Default Total Noob , Want to decide which RE bike to buy ?

Hi Friends , This is my first post as I am totally new to the evergrowing bike enthusiast federation .
I dont even have a license yet ( will turn 18 in July ) , so I have very meagre knowledge about bikes. I have ridden a Karizma , pulsar 220 and thats the end of my biking aptitude .
    I am considering a CRUISER motorcycle , esp . Royal Enfield's Machismo 500 ,
budget has no limits , I have heard ( as well as read on internet ) that oil leakages and vibrations are very common to Mach 500 and also that it requires high maintenance .
This would be my first bike and I want to make it special , also I would be using it for 3-4 yrs , after that I will no longer be in India .
Prices dont matter , mileage dont matter either.
    Every opinion counts.
    Thanks in advance .
    Cheers!!!!!!!

If Price really doesn't matter, you can choose Suzuki Intruder, a 1783cc Twin engine costing some 13.2 Lacs on road... Heavily Reliable, and kills kms after kms. A great Touring machine. It has loads of torque at all rpms...

INDIAN:--> Bajaj Avenger is the cheapest Cruiser, at 70+ something INR and it won't leak oil. It has a 200cc engine.

In terms of vibrations, RE Thunderbird TwinSpark is latest, and even it vibrates beyond 80 kmph. Every RE will vibrate above a certain speed ... Their speciality is to pull load effortlessly in higher gears...

Or Suzuki Hayabusa at same price, is a Sports Tourer. It also looks & performs great...

I like your advice. You are proposing a 196Bhp machine to a person who has practically NO or little experience in biking.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I would say THunderbird Twin Spark.

It is good cruiser, Better Looking and better than the 500 in terms of reliability. I have two friends of mine having machismo 500. Reliability on this bike is not that good. Whereas I guess Thunderbird TwinSpark is better. 500 only has mountains of torque thats makes it cool for mile munching but thunderbird should not be that bad either.

I would suggest avenger if you are worried about the high maintenance... But as you mentioned that you want a RE bike then i guess Thunderbired Twinspark would be a good buy... Machismo 500 also is a great bike but as mentioned is a high maintenance bike( in the sense that its will need more maintenance than the TB twinspark)... I'm a big fan of RE too... So my only advice would be if you are really interested in buying a RE bike, be ready to spend time with your bike... Keep her clean... Give her a daily check up... Learn everything about her... And surely she wont dissapoint you...

He says, he's just a bit under-age & new to "forum only".

He says he has ridden a P220/ ZMA. And he can ride a Royal Enfield. ok? Then, I'm sure Intruder won't be a problem. Moreover, these companies (Honda, Suzuki, etc.) have an optional training session, on handling these bikes.

Of course, I shouldn't have suggested the Hayabusa. Sorry for that. I'll edit.

I've paddled around in the kiddie pool as well...doesn't necessarily mean I'll get away with a jump into the open ocean...
