HP Spectre : The Perfect Accomplice

HP has been one of my favourite companies out there. Typical American. Great Products. Innovative and spread over decades now. Seven to be exact. As it has been for the biggest American tech companies, this was also formed in a garage in the silicon valley – Palo Alto. Just a few guys chilling around you see. Anyways, another interesting trivia is the incorporation date – 18th August 1947. Yep. That’s Independence Day of India right there. Just off by 3 days.

My first brush with HP was around 2003. I practically made 4 versions of xBhp.com on a HP Laptop. it was big and bulky back then. The HP Spectre is a different ball game altogether. The objective while identifying appropriate gear and gadgets was simple : Get the coolest, latest and fastest AND lightest whenever possible! Something which complements the hyperbikes that we were riding, especially with the limited space.

So here it was, the Spectre, in all its glory.

Check out the specs, it’s supercool:
It is the HP Spectre AC059, with Intel Core i7 7500u CPU, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 13.3 Diagonal multi point touch screen and Intel® HD Graphics 620 GPU with 128 MB VRAM. That’s one helluva fast machine. Allows us to use Photoshop to edit all the data from our Sony Alpha and Action cameras on the go without any hiccups.

And video games? Look. Not that this cannot run them, but you think we really need to play a video game when we have the cockpit of two of the world’s fastest motorcycles traversing an entire continent.

Yes we also thought so.

Hp Spectre
Even Iron Man seems impressed. That new gold HP logo seduces you like anything.

The keys are spaced apart just enough for you to type comfortably, perhaps even with gloves.

The stylus works like magic, especially with programs like Photoshop and Autodesk Pro.

We will get you more updates from the ride when it starts on the performance of this sweet thing!
