Default Planning to buy a new cycle

Hi guys.. Getting a great deal for RALEIGH ELEVATION 50 26" 21SP, Model no RC541BZ.

I am going to use for pure fitness purpose & sometime short tours.. Kindly suggest should I go for it.

personal experience...
the rear derailleur on Raleigh's sold here are rubbish.

if this is priced somewhere near 17 grand...

then u're better off with a Trek 3700.

avoid getting a bike with rear suspension. they are nothing but cheap springs that'll sap your energy. for your purpose is suggest you look at hercules act110s/110. the former is a steel frame while the later is alum. You could also look at rock rider 5.0, ff cyclone. this i think are the only decent bikes under 10k.
