True, the name RTR comes naturally to the mind because of their performance orientation.

ya there ppl in the petrol bunks ask wats the milage. But when I say the max speed(ya its just 160km for the comet), the entire thinking changes. I this change I have noted 9/10 times. I was shocked when a mech in a village in TN was able to tell the bhp and a few more things of my comet. So the market is ready for high powered bikes and YES the first who makes a 400+CC bike will win the market.
Market is getting educated and matured. It will move "faster" from now on, that is for certain. I wish one could predict... but I see a lot happening in less than a decade!

@LP: I do not intend taking a sanyas from biking so soon unless I get physically maimed!

Wonderfully written Ken da..

I seriously hope, infact i do believe that its a not-too-distant possibility that the motorcycling scenario in India is going to change and change fast. The scenario that we are experiencing today did take a long time, a very long time to materialize, But with change in policies, lifestyles and pragmatic globalization it seems we can dream the dream. But the prime concern that remains is that nowadays with the recession factor coming into the fore states of the world are retorting back to the protectionist era, which might play spoilsport to our otherwise Unrestricted ECU mapped dreams...

Nonetheless never give up and lets keep hoping for the best...
