Yes, it was really a privilege meeting such a personality. It is a humbling experience. You realise what these guys are, and then suddenly you find yourself sitting in front of him chatting with him and my son tugging at his shirt sleeves to show us his bikes. I really enjoyed those moments and try to relive them in my mind.

Many thanks for this Post. Simply put, fantastic
I will try to circulate the videos. Lets see.

Ok let me honestly admit, I didnt knew who Mr. Jean Pierre Goy is.. so I kept ignoring the thread in the live tracker.... out of boredom i clicked on the link... and after about 25 minutes (5 minutes reading and 20 odd minutes on the net searching for him), I realised I didnt reply to this thread...!

Thank you ken da... for putting this up on xBHP!

I liked the way you finally clicked on it!

And if you see this guy GOY, you will see how well he handles being in front of the camera. This guy knows being in showbiz.

And I also like your honesty.

Cool

Hey, thanks for sharing that rare pic of the preps and props. How did you manage to get hold of that picture?

As for how I managed to get hold of JP Goy is a kind of tall story. There is a tiny xBhp chapter that I have managed to start in France. There are some members who visit but do not post. One of them being Valérie Honoré without whose help this article would not have been possible. She managed to get hold of JP Goy, convince him for an interview, despite a tight schedule and I managed to get this work done. JP Goy is one great guy, down to earth and easy-going. He was 7 hours jet lagged when I met him. But he did not hesitate to talk to me, show me around and even entertain Maël, my 8 year old son.

Ken da: Yep i have been thru ur French ride article, and felt you must have met him through some friend over there only. Awesome indeed.

That pic was taken by Warner and is an official set pic. Plus, a friend also happened to be in that chicago subway( dunno the name) when Dark Knight was being shot. Mr Goy was incidently wearing a flip over Bat- mask as he observed, coz otherwise everyone thought it was mr Bale doing the batpod duties!! Really very very lucky to get that snap. You must lay your hands on The Dark Knight dvd. Watch the making of the Bat Pod, its simply superb. the way they came up with the machine and watching JP riding this beast is just plain awesome! It makes you want to lay your hands on it actually. It was tested for something else and ended up doing a lot different actually!

Why does that pic has a warner brothers watermark in bottom right?
Does your friend work there?

First of all ken, sorry for taking my sweet time to click on the link you sent.

Secondly, whoa! That's quite a writup on quite the stuntman! Those tidbits on the batpod were an amazing read and this interview was as good as any I have seen in professional efforts!

Bravo! to the both of you. And keep 'em coming, please...
