Red face Help with Pulsar 180 Pillion seat

Hi Guys, I owe a Pulasr 180 UGIV, just hit 1000 few days back. enjoying every bit of it
As most of you might be knowing, it has split seats
One of the reason to buy the bike was the seating comfort for my girlfriend as well.

Her brotrher owes a Apache RTR 180 and she once she said that Apache seats are more comfortable then my P180, I was like

Now I cant do any thing to make A180 seats less comfortable, but I certainly want to make mine more comfortable, so She enjoys sitting on my bike more enjoyable then her brother's

So Guys Please suggest what I can do make my rear Seat More comfortable

What else can you go? Add a layer of extra foam.

I had an idea. Is it possible to remove split seats and put single seat like old 150's and 180's. i want to do the same thing on my 220.

Why apache 180 pillion seat is more comfortable is that its footrest seating configuration is better than that of pulsar 180. Also it has got little more softer seat than P180. I have seen someone is mentioned about it in another forum. U can go for little more softer seat. Altering footrest geometry is little complex.

you could have pposted the same query in P180's thread..
what do you mean by seat comfort, in my words seat comfort increases with soft padding inside the seat..

in all pulsar's that i have sitted on have very hard padding not much comfortable(personal thought), in current UG4 too i felt seat is too much, and sometimes even i thought of redoing the seats with soft foams..

nothing much can be done, you donot have to seat on that seat for whole day so untill you do that do not open the seat and put in new foam

adding extra foam alone will not help.. been there. what u need to do is add foam to the sides of the seat thus making it wider. wider seats are more comfortable. a narrower seat is never comfortable no matter how soft it is.my gf had stopped riding pillion with me because of the uncomfortable pillion seat on my p180UG3. and yes. never add any fancy seat covers or laminations to a bike's seat. The lamination makes the seat harder than ever. The foam should be covered with only one layer of rexine or any other fabric.

Add some foam and put a velvet or rexine cover on the seat.

@all : Thanks guys for your replies, on this not so technical, but a imp topic to me.

By seat comfort I ment was softness of seat, As my bike is new so currently not is a mood to alter footrest geomatry and all that, also there will not be any benefit of making seats wider, as she is thin .

I currently have a rexine cover on my seats(given by showroom guys at time of purchage).

So can I put some foam layer between seat and cover. Will that be fine.
cost Involved ???

One more query, This time for my mom
P180 now has a saree guard without a foot rest, and my mom sits one sided, so she some time finds it a bit uncomfortable to keep her feet
Can P150 Saree guard be a direct fit in P180 or I will have to make some modifications,
Whats the cost involved.

Can some one please recommend a good place in New delhi (preferbly South Delhi) where I can get this all done
