Recently i have got fairing mirrors & rear disc breaks installed on my P180 UGIII. Now i am facing a bit of problems with both.
1.) Fairing Mirrors: The problem with this is that they are very shaky. If i cross speed of 40kmph they shake a lot and i am unable to see who is coming behind. I got it installed from a shop in JC road and a local mechanic. When i showed this to Bajaj showroom folks they told that the front fork/suspension has to be set, that is the reason why the mirrors shake. The picture of the mirror installed is attached. 2.) Rear disc :Well i have never before had a ride on bike with rear disc, so i was all excited to get a rear disc installed on my P180 UGIII. Brief description is that i got it installed on the stock tube tyres with a change in magwheels. The disc kit was taken from P220. The problem here is that whenever i press the rear disc the bike starts to give jerksin process of stopping. Whenever i press the disc hard the rear wheel locks and the tyre skids. I am afraid to ride at higher speeds becuase i am not sure whether it will stop instantly or i will skid and fall. Is it because i am using rear disc on tube tyres rather than tubeless? Also recently my rear tyre was punctured and the puncture waala took 25 mins to get my tyre out and another 25 mins to put it back as the alterations made to install rear disc did not allow the tyre to come out easily. Need help from people using P220, so that they can advice me on both fairing mirror shaking problem and tell me how the rear disc functions on their bike. Does it come to standstill at hard press and what if they press it slow does the bike give jerks like it is trying to stop but it moves ahead and just slows.

Dude, regarding the rear disc, i too have installed the 220's kit on my 200 and it works like charm no issues at all. Yes, the 220's disc, ok now all the disc brakes will tend to lock if applied hard until and unless it comes with ABS. U just need to get used to the thin line between braking and locking up ur rear wheel. As u've used all drum brakes at rear u will definitely get used to it. Regarding the jerks it is definitely not cos of a tube type tyre that ur using it's because the improper fitments of the disc plate assembly or the caliper that is tending to shake. Just let drive someone and watch from the rear for any shakes in the assembly and rectify it.

Sorry mate, i do not belong to Blr. Maybe someone from Blr can help u. Regarding the dragging, think ur disc plates might have a bend or the swing arm itself.

can be due to the problem with the front fork settings......but not 100% sure how to check it..........also do check for any bends in the RIM, a local mechanic can do that....my ride use to wobble a lot, but my mechanic changed the cone and ball set for the fork and now I dont have that problem
