  • Going out of station for a month -Maintenance Check list for my motorcycle.

    Hi All,

I need your suggestions regarding precautions I one must take when not using a motorcycle for a long time.

I own a 9 month old P200. I will be out of station for a month (23 days to be exact) and wont be using my bike during this period.

I'd really appreciate it if some of you could give me a sort of a check list before I leave my bike. I read somewhere that we need to, remove the battery terminals (mine being a 200, no kickstart).

    Thanks in advance,

Put bike on main stand, Fill fuel to full in tank to prevent any corrosion, remove battery and leave at reputed mech, or at home, so it can be charged once you get back. No need to lower pressure in tyres or anything since its only about three weeks.
