Default P220 DTSi Throttle Problem

hey guys
i got the Pulsar 220 DTSi on 28th of october 2009.
from the last fuel refill, i am having this weird throttle problem with my bike.
when i open the throttle, nothing happens. there is either a very little rise in RPM or not at all.
it happens even while the bike is in speed and moving and the bike engine stops. it happens just like how the engine stalls when the fuel in the bike is completely empty. dunno what the problem is.

also, my bike used to give me like 37-40 kmpl till the last refuel. but since then today my tank got empty. calculated the mileage and its around 24 kmpl.

what may be the problem? bad fuel or something else?

and about the throttle problem, i will take a video of it when it happens next. it happens quite frequently. and the main thing, i asked at the service centre. they tested the bike. but it did not happen in front of them. so they could not say anything.

Rich means you have lot of money, in other words, you have too much money to spend on fuel than the freely available air; in motorcycling terms, in the amount of air+fuel mixture, the amount of fuel is more than the air - hope you got it.

The antonym of running rich is running lean = more air+less fuel

It means that get your CARBURETTER retuned for a optimum air to fuel mixture from service centre.

i got it "FIXED" from the service centre guy. still the problem exists.
and the guy says he has fixed it. what can i do? the engine misfired and stalled 2 times on the highway today. it scares the shit out of me when such things happen in the 2nd lane of the highway where people drive not less than 90 kmph.

what should i tell them? when i told the guy to tune it, he gave me a look that said "who the hell are you to tell me what i need to do. i am the mechanic. i will decide" :P

Can you please explain in simple way or even in Hindi?? WHAT actually the problem is.. I could'nt understant what exactly is happening??

also try draining the whole fuel and then put in new fuel? Best way to identify the problem is :

"Go to a Local Mechanic and let him ride the vehicle, tell the problem you are facing."
most of them will identify the problem on the first GO? Then, go to SC and tell them to do what mechanic suggested.

Also, i noticed that you were alot firm on the SC guys?? donot be firm always BLAST at them as you have been harrased.

well, i don't know how to explain whats happening with my bike.

take a ride till the bike completely runs out of fuel or keep the petrol controller in the off position and keep riding the bike. at one point, the engine starts running out of fuel. at that time you will experience that you open throttle but you hear just the engine sound and no acceleration and the engine stops.

thats exactly how my bike behaves at some points. suddenly sometime, i give throttle, just sound from the engine, no acceleration and the engine stops. and i start again and all is fine.

but if this thing keeps happening its either gonna kill me on the highway or kill the bike's engine.

and yeah the SC guy took like 2-3 test rides himself. but the problem did not occur that time. and i did not see him doing any settings. he just tightened the clutch wire and throttle wire. so i just asked him politely "can you please check if the carb is right?"

tomorrow i am going to SC again. what do i tell them? i am not able to explain the problem. they will have to see it to understand it.

and yeah, i filled in new petrol yesterday. still the problem persists.
