JUST FOR AN UPDATE,

i met Mr. chinmay of CORE POWER. and since the jets for my bike were not available with him, i will be visiting him this wednesday. by the way he has correctly digosed the problem as the engine being overheated so i have reverted back to the configuration till he gets the right jets for my bike...

the stock jet size is 128 main and 32 pilot

by the way, can anyone tell me what exactly does the "128" signify????

latest update!!!! there is no other way of checking the engine reliably other than using cht guage or by a thermal gun

by the way as far as my hunk is concerned,

the stock carb is useless for k&N

i have changed the following stuff

1) carb changed to a bullet carb, 32 mm one
2) upjetted to 145 main and 30 pilot
3) got a new tps

pending mods:-

1 getting a oil cooler installed
2 removing the rev limiter
3 custom ignition controll system

the results are not just good... the bike easily wheelies now and i get lotsa wheel spin when i want.. also , i agtting a new set of tyres as soon as possible to get a better grip in the rains

the top speed is the same as earlier but now, the bike reaches that faster

Can someone please tell me why we need a free flow K&N filter rather than the simple foam air filter we get in Pulsars? I mean, cant we simply adjust the air-fuel ratio from carburettor in a way to have more air:fuel? Where's the difference?

The air screw adjustment does not allow the air to be increased tremendously . also, if u adjust the air screw, it disturbes the setting of the needle in almost all conditions.

Can you tell us which Bullet carb you used. Afaik the Bull's doesn't have throttle response and they are non CV type. So how did you resolve this issue on Hunk ?

Or is there any Bull carb which is CV type with throttle sensor ?

the carb on my bike is the one used on the new bullets and the pulser 200.. this fitment requires the mounting rubber to be cut slightly but the rubber is cheap so does not matter.

as for the tps sensor, the pulser sensor can be used with some minor modifications. actually the tps modifictions have not been completed as yet. and I am getting it done from chinmay dangre (core power)
