I know this question been answered by abhijeet, sreeni, mathew and others, but this issue is bit different. I don't want to fiddle with the battery and RR unit of the bike - not at least at this point of time. I have already done load shedding and disconnected the pilot lamps, so that more power can go to headlamp.
Is there any way to connect only the pilot lamps to battery, so that I can use LED lamps in those? LED in AC lighting will last hardly for an hour of two. By doing this transformation, I can use the beautiful wolf eyes of GS as well as max power of headlight. Help please! |

Ani,
Why dont you try & connect the pilot lamps to the tail light, since its DC & also has LED. The only problem you might face here is,you will have to run the wires all the way back to the end of the bike. In this way,if you switch on the dim lights, the tail lamps & pilot lamps will come to life. Vishal
