Query approved.

This clearly seems the issue of starter relay. That particular part was faulty in few batches of P220 DTS-FI and was replaced by Bajaj free of cost (as told by Bajaj Probiking guys). Please contact the Bajaj breakdown service or tow your bike yourself to the probiking showroom and ask them to change it. Should not take more than few minutes to change it.

I had the same problem on my P180UG3. The service people were stunned by this. they changed the RH switch assy, still the problem persisted. then they changed the starter relay. still the same. it just used to be ok for a while till I got out of the service centre but later develop the same problem. One mechanic from the service centre opened up the front fairing and pulled out a little black box with many cables coming out. he took it to the testing room and said its gone kaput and provided me with a new one as my bike was under warranty. the little black box is the BCU: Body Control Unit. It controls all the electrical gadgets on the bike. And it is a very stupid device and it goes kaput for no damn reason!
