i own a 2008 pulsar 220 dts-fi, problem started yesterday... my bike was in rain for a hour .. then i tried to start the bike, the starter runned continuously without stoping and bike was pushing forward till holded clutch and brakes... probiking showroom is very far from my place so, i shown it to local bajaj show room... but they couid't find the problem.. the battery was fully discharged because of continuous starter problem and the starter was not stopping even if i swiitched off the key for 2mins... plz help..

Query approved.
This clearly seems the issue of starter relay. That particular part was faulty in few batches of P220 DTS-FI and was replaced by Bajaj free of cost (as told by Bajaj Probiking guys). Please contact the Bajaj breakdown service or tow your bike yourself to the probiking showroom and ask them to change it. Should not take more than few minutes to change it. |
