I think they will go in for the former options. Coz a manufacturings setup is feasible only if they can have economies of scale. This will be dificult to meet of they bring in Large capacity (250 CC +) bikes. Large capacity bikes are best brought in by the CBU Route. If they price a 250 CC bike agressively (near the Bullet) only then can they expect to make decent numbers.
My feeling is that they will bring in more work horse kind of City bikes like the Street and other step thrus. Only in that way can they not compete directly with HH.2003 Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i (first gen, spoked 18" wheels)

Anyone got any contacts in ARAI ? If yes, make use of ur contacts and u can see the bike, sad that I don;t have any direct contacts, but try hard to get a glimpse of the bike through a friend's contact.Comment

Well if honda bike is at ARAI then who all want to come along???? I'll confirm with my "contact" if we all will be allowed in
