Smile Want to Install Pulsar 200/220 silencer on my Pulsar 180 UG IV

hi all xbhpians..

I need the help from the experts out here. I'm thinking of installing Pulsar 200/220 silencer on my Pulsar 180 UG IV. I want to know the impact on bike after installation. As i'm not able to afford the cost of the new silencer can anyone advise me the place to get the after market or second hand silencer..

thanks in advance..

Mods may please pardon if i am posting in the wrong section..

Impacts will be Increased weight, Decreased mileage (a lil bit). I could figure out only these two. For a used exhaust ask any scrap shops for that. Please mention your location.

There's gonna be increased weight, more backpressure, decreased topend power, decreased kilometers per litre. So get a good freeflow Instead.

And if you surely waana get it. Its gonna cost you 7k+ for new. In the second hand market these are very rare to find.

BTW Why didn't you baught 220S in the first place if you love that pipe too much??

If you really are stuck on a Pulsar 220 silencer for your 180, then I could sell you mine, but I wouldn't recommend it.

you can get a brand new exhaust for 3000-3500 rupees near Lamington Road.

the mod is virtually a direct fit. except that u'l need to adjust the rear mounting bracket of the exhaust to make sure it fits well.

what's the reason for this mod tho??? aesthetics?

Got it bang on DOA.

@Puneeth - What is the exact reason for the change? Did someone tell you that it'll increase performance or do you simply like the looks of it.
Fitting a 220/200 silencer will definitely increase weight thus resulting in decreased performance & mileage. My 2 cents, don't go for it. Go for the free-flow only if you are looking for better performance. And dude you rarely get 2nd hand free-flows.
