Exclamation Tips for my unicorn maintainance

Hi everyone..
I thank xbhp for helping me to select a bike..
i finally purchased a Unicorn..

i need some tips..

1) what all points must i keep in mind before changing my air filter..??
note :- i have 0 level knowledge about the air filters.. research in internet made me think that K&N is a good air filter.. please advice me.. if possible please specify the costs involved

2) I have a wobbly feeling.. like going from left to right..

note :- i checked the tyre pressures.. its cool there..
i did wheel throwing.. didnt work..
changed front tyre.. still nothing..
changed the ring (the one just below the handle that contains some ball-bearings) still no change..
actually i experienced it after i gave my bike for a service at the honda showroom..

3) bad electrical.. the engine gets shut down with a slight jerk to the key.. (i almost fell as the bike stopped while i was driving at 40.. god saved me)

4) is it possible to increase the height i.e. rotate the mono-suspension and increase the height of the seat??

please give me ur suggestions..
if you feel like i must do some more parts replacements.. please do tell me..
p.s. i purchased a second-hand 2005 model unicorn.. its running awesome.. please advice me on the front disc too..
i have a feeling that the disc oil box is empty.. but i have no idea how to check it (the peek hole is too dark to check) and the brakes not effective.. (the disc is new.. got it yesterday only..)

The stock air filter is always the best option for any bike. Changing to K&N will involve upjetting as well. That means fitting bigger size jets so that the AFM is ideal. The R-1060 would be the K&N filter recommended for your bike. It costs around 1700 + 200-300 for the jets.

Usually when you face such problems, don't jump to conclusions regarding the issue (referring to change of tyres). The problem could be any of the following:
1) Fork out, 2) Fork nut tightness, 3) Wheel alignment problem, etc.
Also check the cone set for any defect/fault.

3) bad electrical.. the engine gets shut down with a slight jerk to the key.. (i almost fell as the bike stopped while i was driving at 40.. god saved me)

There must be some loose connection.

4) is it possible to increase the height i.e. rotate the mono-suspension and increase the height of the seat??

The suspension is usually a 5 step adjustable one, DIY is possible but its best if you get it done from a mechanic.

The brake might not have been bled properly at the time of fitment causing air to be trapped inside the cable. Did you top up the brake fluid when you changed the brake? If the peep-hole for the fluid is not transparent, change the brake fluid master cylinder (little black container on handle).
