Dashboard Problem on pulsar 150 ug3
Mine is a 150cc Pulsar Ug3 model
My digital speedometer is not working. The RPM is working. Fuel indicator and the Speed Indicator is not working and hence trip meters are also not working. Suddenly when I observe while riding, I am able to see that the speedometer working and displaying speeds like 94,124, 66 very random numbers and starts displaying normal speed (ie the exact speed that i go). and gradually shows 0 (that's not working condition.)  What to do now ?? somebody help

if u've replaced the outer casing of the speedo and u still have a problems...
then i'd say that the water had something to do with the speedo displaying random speeds... usually i'd say check the speedo sensor or the cable but it could be water damage. |

Problem solved...
Ya , the water has definitely done its damage
 .....Eg., For 60 it shows 68 kmph.... the 0 is being shown as 8 sometimes ... Anyway now its minimized to an extent though not completely... Total damages : Cluster cover : 115/- Sensor cable : 131/- Service : 50/-  Done at my area svc .. though i did not believe them replacing the parts , i went and brought Cluster cover and Sensor cable individually.. Bad time !!! Anyway better for now....  |
