Smile O - Ring chain for APACHE 150

hi guys, i own an apache 150 which has run 39k kms. Now its high time that i should change my chain and sprocket.

Is it possible to fit an O ring chain and sprocket kit from the rtr 180 or should i go for the stock set. The stock set is costing me around Rs 980. The RTR 160 ones is for around Rs 750. I dont know the price for the O ring set.

I know that the swingarm length of the old apache 150 and the RTR series is different.

Kindly advice me which one to go for as it is urgent and my chain and sprocket set is about to die.

regards

aditya

Just a question, how different is the O-Ring sprocks from the regular ones? I'm under the impression that the sprockets are the same & only the chain differs from the regular & O-Ring one. Correct me, if my understanding is not right.

AFAIK There is NO such thing as a O-ring sprocket.. The sprockets are the same.. the pitch may be different.

If the sprockets are the same, then it shouldn't matter between a regular & O Ring chain.

@Addyrulz - You may want to open up the side case & post a pic here as how the sprocks look like.
