For a 26k kms done 150 ug3 , for past 6 months i could figure these problems (in-spite of recent servicing)

1. Engine overheating once i go above 60kmph for a few km distance(just 5km)....

2. Burning smell from engine occurs after i stop the vehicle after going at avg of 60-70 kmph...

3. Also , nowadays i feel that rpm rate is high for low speeds...
Eg , i get 65kmph speed at 5th gear only at 6k rpm ....

4. Light black smoke coming out of silencer if i cross 70kmph and drive at the same speed for some distance .. No smoke comes if i maintain speed below 60 kmph...

5. Light Sound(Not that much) coming out from silencer (Like two steel plates banged slightly against each other)

6. Engine oil levels are in minimum level with just 300km on odo after replacing it .

7. Engine oil turning dark black within 2 days of replacing....

8. Default sound of my bike is different when its run , compared to Ug4 and Ug2 150's . I mean the sound that comes once i rip past 5k to upshift , More or less Like that of K&N ....

9. Gears are smooth but sometimes jumps if shifted at high rpm (abv 7k) Also Many times i have gone to Neutral instead of 2nd gear ..

Well i dont understand why the above problems occur, My area mechanic told most of these are common and comes due to ageing of bike... but i feel its common because ,

1. Mileage is constant . Min 50 KMPL..

2. Pick up and top end are also good(Tried only max of 90kmph till now though) .. no decline in the past 3 yrs....

3. Gear shifts are also smooth and no issues in it.

4. Use Only Castrol power 1 15w40 every 1200kms ...

5. Service every 2.5kms ... Only Unleaded petrol i use... Bike full in stock condition no mods done...

Now can you guys tell whether is my bike in Normal state or Not ?? Or it requires full Engine check ?? All the above doubts are running on my mind for about past 6 months.Pls help ..

The default engine oil for Pulsar is 20 W 50....or 15 W 50. Do not use 40 weight oil...First change your present oil and see if your problems go, before investigating the problem.
Judging by what you have said ,your clutch plates seem to be worn out,and the piston rings are also bad....The color of OIL turning black and consumption of oil point to this.
But first change the oil and observe...

The recommendation for pulsar 150 ug3 is 20w40 (Very sure).... And i am using 15w40 presently...

Only in ug4.5 150 and 180 (ug3 onwards) is 20w50 i guess....

Correct me if i am wrong...

You are correct it is 15 W 40...but try 50 weight ,since it is a thicker grade and will leak less , past the rings ,and also stick to moving parts better than 40 at higher temperature.
