Unhappy Hero Honda CBZ Xtream

I have cbz xtream bike 2010 Model. The bike had issue with valve clearance, which used to make noise once bike engine was over heated and I had fight to get problem fixed with Hero Honda service station. Now the problem is fixed but more issues are come up.

When I self-start my bike it won’t start in morning or if engine is cool down and even if it starts it shuts down 3-4 times. When I accelerate its give up burring fumes from silencer, which is not at normal. Bike vibrates a lot I feel its more then normal vibration.

As I don’t know what are exact causes for above problems. My next bike servicing is approaching in 10 days, I would like you’ll people Help me in what should I ask them to fix?

As the bike is 2010 model so I think it shouldn’t ran much more km so far, how many km it has completed? I suspect you didn’t maintained proper run-in and also you drove at higher speeds. So why the engine used to be over heated and the valve clearance problem appeared.


Also I think your bike is running with improper carb tuning, as it is making cold start problem. Always use choke to start if the bike is idle for more than one day. And let it idle for a minute before run, let the engine worm. And also keep the Idle RPM at 1400RPM. I hope these all will correct the issue.

Your problem could be overtightened valves.

what colour fumes do you observe (burring fums?)

As Soumen.sam hav asked how did you ride during the running-in period..
And the odometer reading (Kilometers covered? )
