Hi Everyone,
My bike have been running through lots of problems, even though its performance WAS awesome.. Now I need to replace its carb, and need expert advice on which one to buy. I am interested in performance biking, and its OK even if mileage is dropped by3-4 kmpl, but not too much. I heard RTR 180's carb is best. but when i searched again, i found all these are made by other manufactures, like UCAL, Mikuni, etc. Please suggest the best carb for CBZ Xtreme, which boost the performance, but does not reduce the mileage (at least not too much) here is the other problems it had: It had a strange missing @ 4600-5000 RPM, but only when giving throttle is wide open and response is less, (eg: going up with pillion rider) Carb, air filter, engine, CDI, everything was checked by many mechanics, and HH SC, nobody found anything wrong. But i wanted get rid of this. It was given to Joe, and it seems he destroyed the carb doing trial error. Performance is reduced drastically. It hardly reaches 85-90 kmph now, which I had taken upto 122 earlier. I given it another mech and he said carb needs to be changed, it has some holes, etc in it, which was not found by others, including HH. |

Dunno... about the best Carburetor for CBZ Xtreme.. but my mechanic (Reddy) had suggested a P200 carb on my unicorn...
apparently he had done this mod on another unicorn and he was like all gaga over it... saying that power aur pick-up would increase a lot.. |

![]() Or else explore the possibility of fixing a flat slide carb. Though none of these might be a straight fit and in worse case you might have to modify the manifold, accelerator cable and for sure you will have to do the jetting. Edit: And fitting just some better carb will not make your bike into a rocket. ![]() The one in Goregaon?

Does bigger carb result in better performance? If yes then look no further and get the BS32 that does its duty on the P220. But a 32mm carb for a 150cc bike would be an overkill IMO. Go for the BS29 that is found on the P180UG3 and the P200.

@subhashmv
i think tweaking jets would be enough rather than replacing the whole carb..isnt?
