Red face I facing a problem with disc brakes...

I am riding a HH hunk 2011 with single front disc, i bought it in jan 31 this year, it is a great experience so far, but at the recent 6th and last free service they aligned the front disc brake plate, HH egg. was applied some oil also on the plate and then cleaned with petrol, as the brakes was not working due to oil , after the service i rode it almost only 1 km. then next day when i went on the roads i realizes that front disc is not working at all i went to service center the very next day, i do not know what they did it start working fine at that time and for few more day almost 3-4 days, now again it became very loose and i have to apply a lot pressure, then bike stops even on the high speeds it seems feels, like it is not working....some times i think drum brakes are much better that disc..in every department..
Somebody please help what i can do now????

Having oil on the disk leads to oil on the brake pads....so apart from cleaning the disc, THE DISC BRAKE PADS MUST BE CHANGED,for brake to be effective....nothing else works on a permanent basis.

+1,

change the brake pads, clean the disc with lots of petrol and later with a strong detergent...

my mech had once spilled oil on the pads and conveniently forgot to mention it. i had to replace the pads and clean the disc... no other option...

btw, if you are looking for a cheap option, you can use ASK make pads.. they work brilliantly.

Pull out the disc assembly from the wheel(removing those two bolts and also pads) and apply lots and lots of detergent/utensil cleaner like vim etc and rinse using a paint brush. Clean both the disc and also the assembly using lots of water. Works like a charm.
I got a bent disc from an accident and the person who repairs that had put lots of oil in the pistons which got spread to the pads and the disc.
