Default Rear Brake Problem

Hi guys, I don't know if it is the right section for this discussion.
But I am facing a problem.

It is about rear drum brake and rear brake light.

Now to mention when I push my front brake it seems Okay and read brake light timing is OK.

But when I push paddle brake the light stays on.
To mention that the light has no problem.
The thing is that, if i push rear brake too much upward the light goes off. that means rear brake has tension problem. means when releasing the rear brake the brake lever doesn't go to its original position.

So what should i do? It is causing more usage of my battery. My bike is Yamaha SS 125.
Please give me a solution.

Exactly
.. there is a spring attached to the Brake lever.Check for any mud/sludge aroud the same which may be blocking the free movement of spring.

Dont worry, check for these minor points and everything will b ok.Otherwise get it done at SVC itself
