Are you a DIY person? If yes, then you'll know why it has gone kaput; reason being the speedo meter cable connecting the meter & the front wheel.

If you're not, take it to HMSI ASC

If you're economical then just find out what's the issue & fix it; if you've lot of money, then start with replacing the cable & even if it doesn't resolve the issue then go about learning. If you don't know what to do with the money in hand, then you can try even ABS on Activa, forget alone the digital speedo

My personal opinion - waste of money, time & effort unless you're an automobile engineer!!! Why touch something that's stock?

then its the speedo cable fault
either it might get cut in between somewhere
or it might be loose
do check it with a mechanic

and about digital speedometers
its just waste of money
its my opinion

but hear somone fitter Pulsar 135 speedo in dio

for some 3000 or so

You can buy a GPS navigator instead of wasting money on the digital speedo. GPS navig. will give you "exact" speed and other stuffs.
