Unhappy Gear shifter problem is suzuki GS 150 R

I hear a horrible clunky sound when shifting gears.

Have gone to thee service center, mechanics so on and so forth.

At the best, people tighten the chain but the noise is back within a couple of days. Got rid of the chain cover but to no avail.

If you'r taking about a bang sound, like hitting an empty can. Then its normal.

The more smoother you'r transmission, the more likely this is supposed to happen.

You can reduce it, by shifting gears according to the speed. Cause this sound becomes more noticeable when the bike's downshifted from higher speed than its supposed to.

Slightly increase throttle before downshifting;

My slingshot makes a CTUCK noise from rear sprocket when releasing clutch after changing gears,,,i think it is because i'm not revving up enough
i'll question svc anyway

hope ur bike is alright

@Mods
Pls correct the spelling error.
Entire meaning of the word has changed

@bonnyboy

Can you tell the exact location from where the noise is coming ?
Does it make noise when up shifting / downshifting or both ?
