Default CBZ Xtreme Battery/Starter Issue - After Upgrading to 9Ah

Hi all..

This is my first day as a member in XBHP, and my very first post (and thread).
I own a 2007 Dec model CBZ Xtreme (Self Start) which came with a 12v/7Ah Amco battery. I recently replaced it to 12v/9Ah Amaron after making some minor modifications in the battery cradle & clamp.

The issue is, whenever I use the self starter, the whole circuit just dies (as if I just blew the fuse). I took it to an authorized service station seeking help; but all I hot was remarks on how I am going to loose warranty (if any :P) after making such modifications.

I suspect the relay (as both fuses 20 & 15 Ah are intact), so should I change the relay ? Or is there any other solution ? Kindly help me out & thanks in advance.

P.S: No issues with the stock 7Ah battery, so I'm pretty sure the added ampere is causing this malfunction.

The circuit behaves as if it blew the fuse when using 9ah batt. but works perfectly alright when using 7ah batt. right after using 9ah battery ?
Did I get it correct ?
Pls make it more clear if possible .

EDIT:
Is the starter making any sound(like tik-tik) while operating self starter ?
Does the rest of electricals work fine on your 9ah battery ?

if you suspect the relay, just short the COMM & NO terminals with a screw-driver, if the bike starts, then check the starter button (if starter button is fine, change the relay & see) problem should go away because a battery would supply only the required amount of current even if its a 20Ah battery.

All works on 7 amp battery but problem with 9 amp , if it is better change that 9 amp battery it seems to be faulty & unable to handle the load of self start .

When I connected the 9Ah Battery & pressed the self-starter button, the 'power ON indicator' aka the 'neutral indicator' just went off, which made me suspect the fuse. But the fuse(s) were A-ok. So I disconnected the +ve terminal of the battery (with power key off) & reconnected. The neutral indicator was ON again.
With the old 7Ah battery, there were NO issues.

Did that already, same effect with the 9Ah. With 7 Ah battery, result was both positive (shorting & through default mode).
