Default Petrol drops leak from Over Flow pipe in Activa

Hi Guys,
I purchased honda activa 4 months back. From the begining I am observing that some drops of petrol is leaking out from carburetor overflow pipe (which is present at the bottom of the vechicle near the side stand). Generally, it leaks after riding the vechicle for some time and when I park it. I have reported the problem during the 1st and 2nd service, but issue was not resolved. Service guy says that it is the bad petrol that is thrown out by carburetor which is leaking. Somehow, i am not convinced. Even though, petrol leak is not very consistent and is very minimal just 5-6 drops. Just curious, what could be wrong? has any one faced this issue?

thanks in adanvce,
Satish.

Its no "bad petrol" that is thrown out by carburetor. Get the carb cleaned, there might be dirt settled in the float chamber which is causing this. The float might not be able to move freely and causing the overflow.

P.S: Off late have been hearing a lot of this happening, and the service center guys just wont clean the carb when given for service. Be it Honda, Bajaj, TVS, anyone after sales service is just pathetic.
