  • RE Electra Bullet kick-start issue.

I own a Bullet Electra 350 (9 days old now, 465 Kms done). The instruction is - when starting the bike for the first time in the day, don't use the electric starter and use the kick instead.

When i try to kick-start the bike for the first time, it starts does the typical Bullet idling for first 10 seconds (while i don't use the accelerator and choke is ON) and engine stops. After that, i keep on kicking and the bike doesn't start even after 15-20 kicks so, i get impatient and use the electric starter and the bike starts in one go .

My concern is why does the bike start at first, then refuses to start even after repeated kicking and if the electric starter is used, it starts at once.

Experienced guys and Bike experts here, please let me know if I have been doing something wrong here or if there is an issue with the bike.

    Cheers.

Well, to what i read around, people recommend to use electric start for starting the vehicle first time in the day..

Do you have issue starting with kick in other time of day when bike has run well??
I would recommend to get with service center. Kick start issue looks to be common in REs.. Here in my city, many guys are facing issues with kick which generally refuses to start the bike at all
