don't be in a hurry to consumer court.

first go to a service center and tell them you want to change oil at your cost. tell them to drain the oil and measure it, how much comes out of it.
then ask the service center to write it down on the reciept and take signature of service manager. then read the owners manual or discuss on ownership thread or ask service center, that what is the capacity of oil sump. then decide.

for ex. my P150 takes 1.0 Litre oil at the time of oil change and 1.2 ltr.s when engine is opened, so at regular servicing after every 2000 kms. if i am left with 800 ml of oil, it is ok.

Dude I had told u last time(in ownership thread) also make the bike vertical by pulling it ,holding the leg guard and rear grab rails, while u are sitting, and then see the oil level. It should be above the minimum level. Also the "low engine oil pressure" indicator issue is not related to oil level afaik, since this issue was there in few more bikes and my bike too, for which they replaced the whole console. But then also once a while i get this indicator, which goes off ,on its own in later parts of the days. its some sensor issue i guess and the idiot works manager in SVC gives stupid excuses of this thing. If i get it frequently il take it to bajaj. But for u definately call up Bajaj and mention all details. They are very serious about p200NS and your issues would be resolved soon.

buddy just write an email to bajaj on [email protected]
provide them all the details of all the problems you are facing and do make sure to tell them about the pathetic attitude of the dealer you bought your bike from including that of the service station where you went. Do mention your contact number in the end as they will call you, they did in my case.

Do let them know that the dealer also failed to provide you an invoice for your purchase.

Speaking to customer care won't be as helpful as writing to them as per my experiences, most probably different people take care of all those emails. The reply I received was prompt and my issues were rectified on the very next day.

If you've completed 350 Kms till now, then, how did the bike get transported from Aluva, KL to Bangalore, KA? Did you ride or was it transported in truck or flight? From my understanding, Aluva to Bangalore is atleast 500 Km

I am also facing the same issue since my bike had done 200 k.ms I.e the oil pressure indicator and apart form that the second issue i came across was p ,when i am riding at a speed of 60 kms/hr (6th gear) and i tend to increase the speed slowly at the same gear , the engine gasps for breathing at a speed of 76 -88 km/hr and at the same time , rpm needle goes up and down ,it runs smoothly at a speed of 72 km/hr then it starts taking jerks after that . i have completed 2337 kms already .

I wont be surprised to find that the delivered bike was low on oil. A friend of mine recently purchased an avenger and told me that engine was heating up furiously and making noises. So out of curiosity i got his oil drained a day after he got the bike. There was about 400 ml of oil in his bike.

I changed the bike's oil and the problem was sorted out. When asked, svc said that the bike had the required amount of oil and we must have spilled some while draining. When asked, "How could we spill about a 800 ml. of oil and not notice it?", the answer was as it was not done in the svc, we can not comment on it.

Well, No point crying over spilled oil, I guess.
