    Changing the head lights

    Dear XBpians
    I have a Yamaha FZ-S. The head lamp is 35 W. I want to know how to change to 55/60 W head lamp. Any re-wiring is required.I don't know whether my bike is full DC/AC. Kindly help and please suggest which brand will be the best.Cheers.

    Advice is a form of nostalgia.
    Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      FZ-S has full DC headlights. I don't know if the charging system will be able to support an additional load of 25 watts. Try it out and see if the battery gets discharged in city traffic.
      Cheap and best option- Ask any local 4 wheeler spare parts shop for a "H4 55/60 watt bulb",it costs ~Rs.70.

        Thanks you bro. I have changed the head lamps to Philips H4 55/60 watts bulb. Cost - Rs. 100.Cheers
