The one u have shown here is LED based. right? I don't think we get such powerful LEDs in India which will replace H/L bulbs. If u can import it then it's good.
U can go for HID kit.

Actually I too am looking at an LED based projector HL for my R15. Got the lens ready, and high power 3/5watta LEDs are available in India..atleast at Hyderabad! Costs between 200 and 300rs each LED, they need a heatsink or they'll burn off.. I'm trying to plan how to fit the projector in the bike for now, if I succeed in the designing part, gotta think about LED heatsink arrangements, only then can I mount the whole assy in. :P

I will be highly interested in this. Keep us updated! About the projector, why don't you mount it in the leg guard. I can help you with the LED circuit part. Ask me if you need any help. And I assume you want to use the LEDs for dipper, since I have heard they do not throw enough focussed light to be used as high beam.

Surely! As of now, tried for the 3Watt LEDs, but could find only 1W LEDs. Costed Rs85 each and their peak running current is 150mA when heatsinked. Bought two of them for experimentation. Actually, LEds don't have any proper focussing mechanism, and neither can they be used inside reflectors as they are uni-directional. Hence, they were conventionally not used for lighting purposes. But, the lens I have is a projector lens, so should be sufficient..I'm presently having hard time in trying to disassemble the projector, since it has different type of screws for which I don't have a screw-driver!

Surely! This can be done on any bike once it works.
