@Dixitsaab:
After changing to avy 180 coil on pulsar i guess you can easily fit in 55/60w bulb.Cost of new coil(Avy 180) should be approx 600-700 bucks I guess

100/90 bulb dont know if avy coil would support it without battery drainage.You might have to go in for extra winding.But most prolly would cause molten reflectors etc for sure with so much heat.

Even I am thinking of avy 200 coil to fit in a new H3 HID as spotlamp to go with my H4 HID in headlamp for my P200

Thanx for that pic and the info...but can u tell me approximate price of those bulbs..?

@ harsha..
thanx for addin buddy..
u r right.. in R15 the bulbs are 35W and if nightbrakers are 55W then i'll certainly have to make changes in cut outs.. I'll definitely have to meet someone whose well known in doing this stuff so as not to regret afterwords when the battery drains out..

@ all.. thanx once again for responding.. and plz do tell me where in Mumbai is the best place to get all this stuff... i heard lamington road is one of them...but where at lamington rd..? or is there any other bike accessory market in Mumbai?

Osram nightbreaker costs u about 1700 a pair.

i would also like to change the stock bulb of my r15 i want to go for better illumination not necessrily hid .i was talking to this guy about hid ,he said that althought hid may be 35 w it is important to check the amperage of the hid as the battery of r15 has less amperage this might be causing all the battery drain

In that scenario check out with zma owners who have fitted HIDs.ZMA has 7 amp stock battery and I guess you can run HIDs with itNot sure if they do any 'special mods' to electrics for it

well now the thing is that the r15's battery also gives power to fuel pump and the fan which the zma dont have.
a bigger battery can't be fitted as pointed by somebody that it will not be charged because the rectifer is of low power

could some one tell me whether its possible to change the set up of r15's headlamps. I mean to say some thing like the snake eyes of the 08 r1 instead of simply switching to HID's .

@ ketan r15 - i was the first person who installed the HID in R15 from that day i am using it i have no problem or issue with the battery, you should use the bike HID kit which come with the relay, which control the voltage of the battrey.
