Default CBZ Star problem

I have a 2k5 CBZ Star, which has clocked 37k kms. It was owned by two other guys before me, hence the condition was not the best when I received it. In the past year that I have driven the bike, it has NEVER crossed the 100 kmph mark on the speedo till date. It get struck at 95 kmph, and the vibrations are frightening too once I cross 6k RPM on the tacho. I recently changed a cracked right footrest support, but still the vibes are there. I also have switched to a semi-synthetic Motul 5100, and the pickup has gone up noticeably. But I still believe that the bike can perform much better.

With what is available in my city, I have decided to go for the following changes, along with a couple of questions on each. Hope you can answer them:

1. Change stock spark plug to one with 2 or 3 electrodes: Will that be a good choice? Also, should I consider NGK Iridium?
2. Change clutch plate: I have tried, and failed, to perform a single wheelie on the bike. Could this be due to the clutch plates wearing out? The acceleration is still really good, though.
3. Change the sprockets: My mech told me that the front one is pretty worn out. I will check the rear one too, and see if they can be replaced. But, I'll stick to the stock setup for that one.

So guys, help me cross the 100 kmph mark!!

3.change complete sprocket unit is better option then replacing only sprocket's.new stocke sprocket will help u in pulling whelie, reduce some rear tyre pressure from 35psi to 20-22 psi.

and for vibration change rear swing arm bushes, rear shocker's rubber mounting if needed.

Thanks for the advice, but I would rather stick to the stock setup, else I may have to compromise on the top speed or pickup of the bike.

A really funny thing happened in the last few days. When I filled up air yesterday, I noticed that the pressure earlier was way more that the recommended. Front had 39(instead of 25) and rear had 52(instead of 33)!!! I guess the last mechanic who filled it up was drunk at the time. But after getting the pressure to normal, I felt later that day that the handle was wobbly and the rear was, too. I filled again at another air pump and then, as I headed to a crowded highway, I could feel the heat rising in the engine, to the extent that it felt very uncomfortable in my pants. And the handle was wobbly still. I went back home and checked the tyres for loseness, plus the engine oil level and air filter for any reason for the overheating. Today feels a little normal, but I haven't driven much since the morning.

i didn't advice u to go for sprocketing to get lower end torque to pull wheelie's.just replace ur chain set with the new stock one.

Oops...I misread!! I will get the chain and sprockets a full examination on a weekend to see the damage done in the last 35k kms.

cbz's are more of a pickup machine rather than a top end boaster...my friends stock cbz does a max of 95 too...its the first model...

Totally agree Richard, but I have also heard of CBZs doing 120 kmph!!! Don't know the true speed, but the speedo says so. I guess the engine mods must be the reason, but still it feels that the machine is raring to go at 98 kmph too.

Yup I was talking to my mechanic about the CBZ, CBZ's stock CDI for India is a restricted one. Change the CDI and install the one from the original honda's cbf (the model from which the indian cbz comes), It can do a 120kmph
