I don't think 2003 model Pulsars were called UG3 ??!!! Am doubtful even if the DTS-i V1's had been launched.

UG -upgrade . UG-3 is latest pulsars.and many UG-2(or 2.1?) owners change the rear stop light to that of LED one from UG-3 and also the speedo console.
but for 2003 model ,you may consult bajaj guys.

The pulsar ug1 or dts i model with fairing and spoke wheels was launched by the end of 03 probably dec. This must be a Classic pulsar, without the dts i. Ug2 came in 04 dec.
