hey buddy, if you have time like 5-6 days, you can go and explore Rajasthan. hell lots of things to see in there. explore wild life in places like Ranthambore, Desert National Park, sariska tiger reserve. then check out the places like udiapur, jaisalmer, jaipur, mtabu, etc. Roads are good, its winter, so no more burning under the sun. Just ride on and enjoy the ride.

1.You like tough riding, Delhi-Leh-Delhi.

2.You like desert and colour and culture, Delhi-Jaisalmer via Shekhawati, Bikaner and on the way back Jodhpur with a touch of Bishnoï villages.

3.You like historical visits, Delhi-Aurangabad-Delhi, visiting Ajanta and Ellora during your stay at Aurangabad. (This would be a bit tough and long to achieve actually)

4.The Imabaras in Lucknow.

5.Delhi-Orchha-Khajuraho and back.

6.Delhi-Spiti Valley and back with a bit of night riding in the valley.

In a week, you can do quite a bit from Delhi though the choices may not be as varied as in down South.

Rick
thanks all for the suggestions.

@ Ananth...Leh..Already done this year in the month of June.

@ rickyshh.. well, yours is indeed nice one( and I was talking about the suggestion)
@ ken cool.. How could I just miss upon tht... I mean, a one-stop-shop for all ur needs!
ken...the suggestions are welcomed and now am looking for a company...surely I dnt want the hi-way patrols to give me company but how about someone from the gang...and yes, this time I would rather be going to somehere in Rajasthan which isnt frequented by tooo many desi and videshi tourists. may be some isolated village...guess I am a bit of phynicy! aint I?

will surely give ur suggestions a serious thought again..... but honestly speaking..I want to go to a place...where My mobile should show..NO NETWORK, no ATMs, No Fancy eating Houses, No Cybre cafes, No this and no that.... let me scratch my barins and use my memory power if I can find any one !

Go to Bijaipur, 38kms South of Chittor, off the being-constructed NH76 to Kota. If you can find the place, there will be no tourists, desi or videshi and there is no network. There is however a swimming pool with some horses around in the only palace converted hotel in that place if you can afford it. The entire village is smaller than 1km².

You can also go to Gajner, small hamlet 33kms west of Bikaner. No network or tourists there either on the streets. The only place to stay there also is an old hunting lodge converted hotel in true colonial style.
