Not sure bro but maybe there is a problem in tyre alignment. The front might not be in line with the rear, just a wild guess though. Get your swingarm checked.

Ug1 has 18 inchers . u changed them to 17" alloys?

Uv had a all before with any fork / T stem damage?

Hmm the problem is very similar to the one I had b4 getting my rear wheel + rear tyre changed but a lot subdued in nature than b4. Earlier bike used to wobble a lot and so much so that it felt like I will just fall off! There was an alignment issue which was corrected I think but that didnt help and besides my rear alloy was damaged anyways.

oh sheeesh! my bad! I dont have UG1! it came with alloys (i think its UG2 sorry for that) so no I did not change from 18inch rims to 17inches alloys.


Anyways last two days I have felt my bike behaving a bit wierd. There are times when my bike hits a pothole and runs extremely stable even on curves (Like the curve next to the domestic airport on the highway I can easily took that curve at 100 today, while going from bandra to Jogeshwari, which just isnt possible usually) and after sometime it just comes back to the normal problem. Will that suggest its a wheel fitting issue or something else?

chicmagnet...chic-magnet!! try checking your cone-set or if the fork is out, or the fork oil...

maybe you are counter-steering unknowingly . Check the cone set, that should sort the handling problem. My bike was not handling well for quite some time, and only when I went to Castrol Bike Zone in pune, that manager took a test ride and correctly rectified it. Go to a proper service station, not just roadside mech. I found the roadside mechs are unable to point out the exact problem in such cases (personal opinion and experience, don't shower me with posts of how your mech is great).

yesh its not awesomely seriously. bike still handles pretty well generally speaking. its just the curves where the problem is.

I dont think i am counter steering atall, quite scared it will skid and i will fall! scared cause of the occasional wobble offcourse.
Thank you for the suggestion of getting the cone set checked (Now if only I knew what it was exactly, so I can enhance my bike knowledge as well).

Will get it checked from a service centre this time and report back.

Finally Janardhan agreed that my bike had a stability issue and as a result got my bushing (hope i got the term right) changed. Its been stable for now. Riding is a pleasure again finally! . Hopefully there shouldnt be a problem anymore though yes I always feel other bikes (Whichever pulsar i get to ride other than mine) are more stable than mine ...
Anyways, one question, do mag wheels carry some sort of warranty?
