Default HELP: Carb Tuning

hey guys i want to learn how to tune the carb myself....i noticed that with a rich mix the bike preforms better at the redline's..and with a lean one you get the high kmpl that every one is crazy about these days..

but how do you get the right mix??
i mean how do i get the right balance of the mileage + proformance?(company like settings)..is there any way of doing it without unscrewing the spark plugs a hundred times...

the machine is a 150v1 running on stock air filter with a semi gutted out exaust...

any info will be very useful...
