I have a Honda Shine 1 yr 4 months old. At 50 kmph if you apply only the rear brakes, it will skid, depending on the road conditions it may skid sideways also. But the thing is it will generally skid to the right instead of the left. You should check your tyre pressure and wheel alignment as mithun said.

hey its fun aint it?!
i used to do that in my friends splendor. swoosh... clean 180 degree easily. and all you gotto do is jam the read brake!suggestions said above is spot on. front approx 70% rear 30% braking would be ideal. and good tyres and balance ofcourse.
