I was looking to fix an avenger type rear grab rail or back rest on my Zma for the pillion. This will be a temprorary fix only for a trip I am planning. So any ideas if the same can be done?

Yes, Cramster tankbag fits perfectly on the ZMA, owing to the knee-scoops provided in the ZMA tank.

BTW: Use a scotch tape between the tankbag magnets and the tank surface to prevent scratches on the tank.
